After 5 days of being sick in bed, I knew I had to create this.

Packed with Vitamin C and antioxidants to help get your immune system back on track, this Immune Boosting Smoothie is the perfect way to start your day.    Between the chia seeds, kale and carrots, the color of this is definitely not the prettiest but looks don't matter when it comes to this smoothie.

Once you close your eyes and take a sip, you will enjoy this antioxidant party in your mouth. Thank goodness it also tastes delicious as well.

Smoothies are so simple to make and so extremely versatile, I love to make them all the time for my family. They are also a great way to supplement your diet with added fruits and vegetables.

If you are looking for some more healthy smoothie recipes, you will love this yummy Coconut Quinoa Smoothie, Blood Orange Smoothie, Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie and of course this delicious Blueberry Lavender Smoothie!

Why You Should Make This Immune Boosting Smoothie

High in fiber, antioxidants and vitamins, this yummy smoothie is a powerhouse of nutrition. It will be ready in minutes and all of the ingredients are normal and easy to find.

Don't you hate when you find a recipe and it has these strange ingredients that you can't find in a regular grocery store?

I've made this smoothie with kale and spinach and both were delicious. Use what you have in your house, I promise you aren't losing out on any nutrition.

This immune boosting smoothie is perfect for those who feel like they might be starting to get sick, those are in the middle of being really ill and for others who are slowly starting to feel better.

I'm glad I found another smoothie recipe with chia seeds. Very easy to prepare, healthy and good. Not a fan of ginger but this can pass.

I have four kids who are relatively amazing eaters. we were excited to try this smoothie, but must say that none of us enjoyed the texture of it. it was far too pulpy. The flavour was fine, but it wasn't 'drinkable'.

I have been battling a cold for weeks. I just made this smoothie, hope it works 🙂 I loaded up on the kale. I was pleasantly surprised that my 4-year-old actually drank some of the smoothie as well. Thanks for sharing!

I definitely will try this, how often do you recommend to drink in order to stay healthy?
Is ok to give it to my kids (7, 4, 2yo)?

Amazing Smoothie! Hubs and I have both had the crud for a few days, and determined to beat it! This smoothie hit the spot - both as a great option for caloric and nutritional intake as neither of us feel like really eating anything....and as an immunity booster as well! Thank you!
