Have you tried a smoothie bowl before? Just like your favorite drink, this is healthy, easy to make and super delicious!
This is almost too pretty eat. The key word is almost, because I downed this baby in minutes. The blueberries add such a pretty color (along with vitamins and antioxidants). I added cacao nibs, which add some more antioxidants and a wonderful crunchy texture, chia seeds and hemp seeds both which add more antioxidants, protein and fiber and of course some delicious fruit. This is a bowl of deliciousness that will start your day off perfectly.

Blueberry Mango Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- Smoothie Bowl:
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup sliced mango I used frozen
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- ice
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- Toppings:
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon blueberries
- 3 strawberries sliced
Instructions
-
Add all ingredients for a smoothie in a high powered blender.
-
Mix until smooth.
-
Pour in bowl. Add toppings and eat immediately!
Go ahead and use whatever fruit you want, but the combination of mango/blueberries/banana is amazing! I only put 1/2 cup spinach in there so that the color would still be pretty, but you can definitely add more.
So tell me, what is your favorite smoothie and have you tried a smoothie bowl yet?
Looks so precious and colourful that I wouldn’t be able to eat it, haha! The perfect decoration for every kitchen ๐
Thanks so much Lily! It would be a great decoration! ๐
Never even thought of a smoothie BOWL — I love this, Lauren!!!
Thanks Julianne! It’s fun ๐

I’ve never heard of a smoothie bowl before…great idea and gorgeous to look at!
Thank you Martha!
The color of this is absolutely stunning! But you’re right…I have a feeling I’d down it in a second, too, because there’s too much goodness to resist.
Thanks Dara!!
Love the color that the blueberries give it! This would totally brighten up my mornings! I’ve had smoothies but never thought to make a “smoothie bowl”!
Thanks Angie!
This is soooo beautiful! I love the fact that the spinach doesn’t turn it green. My boys are starting to stay away from anything green ๐ Will give it a try!
That is exactly why I only put 1/2 cup spinach in it, Emilie! ๐
It looks like a smoothie soup! LOVE it. You had me at cacao nibs. I’m positive that this gorgeous bowl of yum wouldn’t last but a few seconds in the same room with me.
This smoothie bowl is so pretty! I love how easy it is to pile on toppings and devour it in seconds. I want….yum!
Thanks Brandi!

I made this this morning for breakfast and it was lovely, just using some homemade chair spiced granola for crunch since I didn’t have cacao nibs. It was really nice, so thanks for the recipe!
