No bake, simple to prepare and made with wholesome ingredients, these little Apple Pie Bites will be your favorite, healthy snack!
I am on the never-ending quest for new, healthy snacks. Not only because my kids love trying new ones, but that I love to mix it up to avoid getting bored.
Now don't get me wrong, my Peanut Butter Oat Flax Bites will always be my number 1, but I love to test out new, seasonal flavors. And let's be honest, no bake, one bowl snacks are the BEST.
I've made these a few times, one with fresh apples and the others with dried apples. The thing about the fresh apples is they can turn brown and my picky kids weren't having it. SO I went to my all-time-favorite-online-store, amazon and ordered me some unsweetened dried apple rings.
BAM! Crisis averted.
These are the perfect little bite sized snacks. I love to send them in with my kids for snack time too. Note: They can get a little soft if not refrigerated. My youngest was not digging the mushy apple pie bites in his lunch box. Lesson learned.
