With the big game slowly approaching this weekend, I knew I had to share this delicious Philly Cheesesteak Dip recipe with you. Because let's be honest, the game is usually fun to watch but I am all about the halftime show and the food of course!
You all know I love my dips... my Broccoli Cheese Dip, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Sun-dried Tomato Spinach Dip and my yummy Buffalo Cauliflower Dip! This Philly Cheesesteak Dip is hearty, delicious and a total crowd pleaser.
You can eat this dip with my Cheesy Almond Flour Crackers, sliced red peppers, carrots or cucumbers and my Gluten Free Rosemary Crackers. This scrumptious dip would be even more incredible with some Spiked Apple Cider, Berry Wine Spritzers, Mojito Spritzers and definitely these Cranberry Mojitos!
Why You Should Make This Philly Cheesesteak Dip
This dip is low carb, gluten free and sugar free. The best part is that it's simple to prepare and will be ready in under 30 minutes.
You can easily prepare it ahead of time and then just pop it in the oven before your guests arrive. I always do that, it's a huge tie saver.
I love bringing this philly cheesesteak dip to parties so I know there is at least one appetizer that I can enjoy that isn't loaded with carbs and sugar. It's always the first appetizer to go, everyone loves it- those who follow a Keto diet and those who don't!
How To Make This Philly Cheesesteak Dip
Add the ground beef, onions and peppers to a skillet over medium high heat. Saute until the meat is browned, and the vegetables have softened.
Drain any excess fat, and reduce the heat to medium low. Stir in the garlic and worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix in the cream cheese until completely combined.
Add in the sour cream and mozzarella cheese, stir until the cheese has melted.
Layer the mixture in a baking dish, and top with the provolone slices.
Bake for 20 minutes, and then serve with your choice of keto-friendly options for dipping.
