With only 3 ingredients, you can enjoy this vitamin-packed, refreshing Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie all summer long! This delicious smoothie recipe is vegan, dairy free and gluten free.

I am loving all of the summer fruits these days, but I am most excited for watermelon!
I have always loved watermelon so much. Back when I was in grad school, I ate a half of watermelon is one sitting and was sick for hours. And honestly, I don't regret it one bit. Ok, maybe a tiny bit, but you catch my drift.
So alas, my love affair with watermelon continues and I bring you another delicious watermelon recipe. And it's so easy even my 6 year old can make it. No joke.
If you are looking for more watermelon recipes, you will love this Watermelon Feta Salad with Mint Balsamic Dressing, Watermelon Mint Salsa and definitely this Watermelon Mint Slush!
These would be extra delicious with some Apple Chai Latte, Eggnog Latte, Low Carb Bulletproof Hot Chocolate or even some Spiked Apple Cider!
Also, my cookbooks are both on sale now and would make a great gift! The Everything Wheat Free Diet Cookbook and The Greek Yogurt Cookbook are both the lowest prices I have seen!

Why You Should Make This Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie
So yeah, it's almost funny to call this a recipe, but I did add chia seeds too? And I don't care, it's so delicious and I've made this 4 times in the past week.
These two summer fruits are a match made in heaven and this Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie will soon be your favorite breakfast, snack or treat.
This is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and fiber. ¼ cup of chia seeds contain about 7 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber, and adding a scoop of protein powder will add an additional 20-25 of grams protein per serving.
The protein powder is optional and an easy way to add protein to your diet. I am looking to have about 25-30 grams of protein per meal.
