Soft, chewy and lightly sweet, these healthy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars make the perfect, healthy snack when you are on the go!
September is so busy. It's a struggle getting the kids (and me) back into the school routine.
And just like all of of the other busy moms and dads out there, we need to make ourselves a priority. We are always so busy taking care of our friends and family and stop putting everyone's needs in front of own own.
If you are looking or some more healthy recipes, you will love these Almond Flour Thumbprint Cookies, Chocolate Chip Zucchini Cookies, No Bake Cookie Dough Bars and definitely these Red Velvet Cookie Cups.
All of these would be even more yummy with some Low Carb Bulletproof Hot Chocolate, Apple Chai Latte and definitely some Spiked Apple Cider!
Recipe Tips
Speaking of busy…let's talk about saving some time in the kitchen!
I like to pick one day a week, usually Sundays to prep meals and snacks for the week. It saves so much time and energy to plan and prepare ahead of time.
I always prepare an easy snack that my kids can help themselves to during the day. These oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are just that and super delicious so there won't be any complaints from my kids.
Well, I think there is always some type of complaint but attest they won't complain about these bars.
These oatmeal chocolate chip bars are perfect for busy moms and dads like me who want to cut back on the processed foods that kids (and adults) are eating these days. They take 5 minutes to prepare and 25 minutes to cook and that's it.
A healthy, well balanced, protein-packed snack that you can feel good about giving to your family. These bars are made with all real, wholesome ingredients that you find easily in any grocery store.
Who the heck wants to buy crazy, obscure ingredients that they will only use for one recipe? Not me.
Trust me, no one is too busy to make these oatmeal chocolate chip bars. They are packed with all nutritious ingredients like hemp, chia and flax seeds so you can feel good about eating them.
And everything tastes better with some chocolate, right? I used gluten free, dairy free, vegan chocolate chips but you can easily use sugar free chocolate chips as well. I promise they taste delicious either way.
