Googly Eye Pretzel Kisses are easy to make, fun, festive and super adorable. All kids (and adults!) will go crazy for these simple, enjoyable Halloween treats or any time of the year!
There are so many extremely creative, fun Halloween treats out there. I mostly just browse through those recipes because I am not that creative myself. And I consider myself to be a very simple baker.
There's nothing wrong with that, right? I actually enjoy baking very much. I don't love an elaborate recipe, I will mostly always pass on it.
Many of these treats contain artificial colors and stuff, am I right? My kids get so much candy from trick-or-treating so I want simple and adorable treats that don't take a lot of time (who has any time these days?)
And truth be told, especially when your kids are younger, they get sooo much (unnecessary) candy this time of year, why should we go make elaborate desserts filled with even more sugar? I really try my best not to overload them with too much sugar and junk but everything in moderation, right?
I thought, why not make a fun twist on my Pretzel Kisses? If you are looking for another yummy Halloween treat, you should make my Chocolate Spiderweb Cookies. Or if you are feeling festive for St. Patrick's Day or just want to celebrate your Irish roots, your will love these Shamrock Pretzels!
Are you looking for something to sip on while snacking on these googly eye pretzel kisses? Enjoy my Apple Chai Latte, Low Carb Bulletproof Hot Chocolate or even my Spiked Apple Cider!
Why You Should Make These Googly Eye Pretzel Kisses
They are simple to make, small bite-sized, and adorable. What's not to love about these?
And these are a perfect example of me and my "simple" treats. Not everything has to be over the top and elaborate to be cute and taste delicious. Am I right?
These goggly eyes have thousands of options and my kids love them! These are perfect for the kids' lunch boxes especially when you want to surprise them with a fun, small treat. And let's keep it real here, I am really not THAT creative with treats and such.
This is about how creative I get. Just because they are simple to make, doesn't mean they can't still be delicious! Don't you just love a sweet and salty treat?
The best part of these is that you can customize them to any way you like them. Use any color Hershey's Kisses or Hugs, you can use other types pretzels...the possibilities are endless. Have some fun and mix it up!
It's fun to mix it up and use a bunch of different hugs and kisses, the kids love them.
How to Make These Googly Eye Pretzel Kisses
These couldn't be any easier to prepare. Even kids can make these googly eye pretzel kisses on their own (with supervision of course depending on their age).
With just three simple ingredients you can whip these up in no time.

Jess
I’m excited to make these. That being said, in your recipe you keep saying kisses, but in pictures you are using hugs, not kisses. And in the recipe you don’t include the time for hugs even though that’s what the recipe should include based on the pictures of hugs being used
Lauren Kelly
Hi Jess! I apologize and I will update the recipe to include a little less bake time for the hugs!
Melissa

Jen
It would be helpful if this recipe was complete. Are you using edible googly eyes, regular? Also, I noticed a typo which drives me nuts. I'm assuming you meant over bake not overtake?
Lauren Kelly
Hello Jen. I edited to say that they are edible google eyes. As for the typo, so sorry, I am human and we all make mistakes, right? Thanks for catching that, I changed it to overbake! Have a great day.
