These healthy, No Bake Pumpkin Spice Donut Holes might taste decadent, but they are packed with vitamins, lightly sweet, vegan and gently dipped in cocoa.
I have to say, the busier my kids and I get, I really am embracing the no bake snack craze. I mean, it’s a craze for good reason. It makes your life easier. And I am all about simplifying things these days.
Tell me, do you have a “prep day”? It’s basically a day that you choose to prepare snacks and meals for the upcoming week. Mine are Sundays. Or at least a dedicated hour or two depending on how busy my Sunday is. This helps to keep me organized with my meals and to avoid that mindless eating that we all do at times. Each week I roast some vegetables, grill some chicken, make a salad or two as well as make some granola bars for my kids or energy balls. These will now be on my next rotation.
I call these bad boys “donut holes” and I say that very loosely. The cocoa on the outside makes them more like donut holes, but you get the picture.

So 2 out of my 3 kids like these “donut holes” rolled in cocoa. My youngest didn’t like the cocoa so I made a batch without it. He was thrilled! And they were equally as delicious. But they don’t really look like donut holes. Oh well.
I hope you enjoy these too! Let me know if you like these with or without cocoa ๐
What a great idea! Love the ingredients in these goodies and they sound delicious!
Thanks Kimberly!
What a delicious idea! They look wonderful. Pumpkin is a favorite at our house, we will have to give these a try. ๐
I hope you like them Sarah!
I don’t have a prep day….but I should!! I love this quick and easy idea – no bake snacks are my favorite!
Mine too ๐ Thanks Ashley!
As soon as I opened this page I smiled. Looks delicious with all my favorite ingredients. No prep day but that would be my favorite day. I need to make that happen.
Thanks so much Ginny!
No bake and pumpkin? Sign me up for a dozen or two.
You got it Paula!
Super cool that these are no bake donut holes! My kiddos would be excited to see these made as an after school treat!
Thank you Lora!
I love how healthy and easy to make these are
Thanks so much!
I love anything that taste like dessert but is actually stuffed with “good for me” things! I don’t have prep day but I need to start one. I always tell myself that it’s going to be Sunday Evening and never follow through.
I know Angie, weekends go by so fast!
I wish I were organized enough to have a prep day! It’d save so much time and worry during the week. And I think these look great, even without the cocoa powder. ๐
Thank you Erin!
OH YUM YES! I wanna try these with coconut flour instead of oats! ๐
That sounds fantastic!
Yay! A healthy no-bake snack that is actually nut free. I can’t wait to try these “donut holes” with my kiddos. Did you roll yours in sweetened or unsweetened cocoa powder?
Yes! I agree, most of the energy balls all contain nut butters Kirtsen. I used unsweetened, but use what you like ๐
Ummmm I woke up this morning STARVING and I sorta wish these were waiting for me. I love that they are no-bake…yum!
Dear Lauren, what a wonderful treat to have on hand! Love they are healthy too…perfect for snacking. xo, Catherine
These look fantastic for a school snack for my daughters class. Could I substitute Chia seeds for the flax?
Thanks!
Hi Erin! Yes you could definitely substitute chia seeds for the flax. I hope you like them!
Oh my goodness, Lauren! I’ve been cruising around your site, happily pinning all sorts of things, and trying not to stop on every recipe and tell you how I loved it. Ok – I gave in! You had me on this one – “healthy” and “donut holes” in the same sentence is always a winner, but what really got me was the no-bake part! Brilliant! My kids are going to go nuts for these!!! ๐
Thank you so much Shelley for all of the support!
