Think toast is boring? Think again! I will show you two healthy and outrageously delicious ways to eat your toast.
Disclaimer: I was compensated by Dave’s Killer Bread to create these recipes. However, like always, the opinions are entirely my own. Promise ๐
There are so many breads in the grocery store today, but many of them are loaded with unnecessary preservatives and artificial junk that you don’t even know if a healthy option is out there. It’s frustrating and I get overwhelmed just trying to read all the labels and ingredients. Not any more. I am SO excited to have found Dave’s Killer Bread! Finally, a healthy option.
Dave’s Killer Breads are packed with of Omega-3s and fiber from seeds and organic ingredients such as amaranth, barley, spelt, blue cornmeal, quinoa and pumpkin seeds, Thin-Sliced Dave’s Killer Bread is a great option for a snack-sized treat or those counting calories. They are all 100% organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, vegan and loaded with protein. I’m in heaven.
When I grew up, we had toast with our eggs… white bread (gasp!) and butter. That’s it. Maybe a little grape jelly if we were feeling crazy. But that’s how I remember toast. Until now…
Check out all of those seeds! I am so in love with this bread. This toast is a perfect snack, lunch or breakfast (no judgement here…there ARE pears in there!) It’s simple to make, healthy and crazy delicious. I know someone who actually licked the pesto bowl clean! Weird right? Ok, it was me.
I even thought these would make really great appetizers if you cut them in quarters too. Did I mention how much I loved that pesto? And look at those seeds!
I used Dave’s Powerseed Bread for this toast. Each slice has only 60 calories and 280 mg omega-3-fatty acids (the good fats).

Who says treats can’t be healthy? This can also be a healthy snack too. What’s not to love about almond butter, sliced strawberries, chia seeds and melted chocolate on the best bread ever? I know!
Let’s be honest, all toast should have melted chocolate over it. And the almond butter adds protein and you know how healthy those chia seeds are!
I used Dave’s Good Seed Bread for this one. It only has 70 calories, and 360 omega-3 fatty acids PER SLICE people! That is some serious healthy stuff right there.
