This light and refreshing Black Cherry Lemonade recipe is sugar-free, sparkling, simple to make and it will cool you off all year long!

I love making easy, refreshing drinks for my whole family to enjoy without all of the artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners.  My kids love that this black cherry lemonade is "sparkling" too, and it's much healthier than soda.

If you are looking for more delicious drink recipes, you will love this Coconut Water Ginger Lemonade, Blood Orange Green Tea Chia Energy Drink, Eggnog Latte, Bulletproof Hot Chocolate and of course my Spiked Apple Cider!

Also, my cookbooks are both on sale now and would make a great gift! The Everything Wheat Free Diet Cookbook and The Greek Yogurt Cookbook are both the lowest prices I have seen!

Why You Should Make This Black Cherry Lemonade

I love all of the Vintage Sparkling Waters!  There are 6 flavors: Cucumber Melon, Lime, Lemon, Original, Pink Grapefruit and Coconut.  I personally love the Cucumber Melon and Pink Grapefruit but I decided to use the good-old-original one for this lemonade.

These Vintage Sparkling Waters are just what I am looking for in a drink.  They are made with no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or dyes, no high fructose corn syrup or sugar, and no calories.

Let's face it, sometimes you just need something bubbly, right?   And we all know that sodas and diet sodas are not the answer!

Now let's get back to this black cherry lemonade...

    It's pretty right?

I'll be honest, I once had a lemonade-like cocktail at a restaurant and they added sprigs of thyme so I kind of copied that.  Thyme adds a subtle "earthiness" to the drink, which I like, but you can definitely omit it.

The lemons make it a little sour so I feel like you need to add some sweetness.  I used a small amount of monk fruit, but you can use stevia or also an unrefined sugar or even a little honey if you'd like.

Mmm! This was so good. So good, that my boys are wondering how they can make it to sell it at the farmers market this year! Haha. Thank you!

I used frozen black cherries and I only had berry sparkling water, but it’s so good! It made it a little more “frosty” treat like and loved by all. Thanks for a great place to start with my new obsession with cherries.

Vintage is the best, we always had it at home growing up (and still do now). This drink is gorgeous! It's perfect on a hot day and that touch of thyme sounds perfect.
