This light and refreshing drink is sugar-free, simple to make and it will cool you off!
I know I have been talking back to school and how many kids have already gone back, but it’s still the beginning of August and it’s still really hot outside. I love making easy, refreshing drinks for my whole family to enjoy without all of the artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners. My kids love that this lemonade is “sparkling” too, and it’s much better than soda.
I love all of the Vintage Sparkling Waters! There are 6 flavors: Cucumber Melon, Lime, Lemon, Original, Pink Grapefruit and Coconut. I personally love the Cucumber Melon and Pink Grapefruit but I decided to use the good-old-original one for this lemonade.
These Vintage Sparkling Waters are just what I am looking for in a drink. They are made with no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or dyes, no high fructose corn syrup or sugar, and no calories. Let’s face it, sometimes you just need something bubbly, right? And we all know that sodas and diet sodas are not the answer!
Now let’s get back to this lemonade…
It’s pretty right?
I’ll be honest, I once had a lemonade-like cocktail at a restaurant and they added sprigs of thyme so I kind of copied that. Thyme adds a subtle “earthiness” to the drink, which I like, but you can definitely omit it.
The lemons make it a little sour so I feel like you need to add some sweetness. I used a small amount of stevia but you can also use an unrefined sugar or even a little honey if you’d like.

Sparkling Black Cherry Lemonade
Ingredients
- zest of 1/2 lemon

Add cherries, lemon zest and lemon juice to blender and blend until smooth.
-
Pour into a pitcher.
-
Add water and Vintage Sparkling water and mix well.
-
Add stevia if desired and stir again.
-
Chill in the refrigerator for an hour.
That’s it! I told you it was easy!

I’ve never had Vintage, wonder if I can get it elsewhere since I don’t have a Kroger’s in my area? This Cherry drink is gorgeous! Pretty pics my friend!

It’s perfect for this heat, Martha!
I feel like I’m drowning in cherries around here… they are just so yummy this time of year, I can’t stop buying them – I NEED to put them to good use in this lemonade.
So jealous you have so many cherries! I hope you like this! 🙂
Pretty and sparkling are two of my requirements for summer beverages. I just started enjoying flavored sparkling waters. I’ll have to look for Vintage brand.
I wish we had Kroger’s here in FL. I would love to get that Vintage sparkling water and to make this lovely black cherry lemonade. So perfect for these hot August days!!
Mmm. I love a little sparkle in my lemonade — what a great way to add it!
The color of this black cherry lemonade is so pretty! We’ve been trying to get rid of sodas all together and really the only time I want one is when I’m craving that carbonation! I’ve got to look for these vintage Sparkling Waters! They may be just what we need!
Lemonade is best served in a mason jar.
Vintage is the best, we always had it at home growing up (and still do now). This drink is gorgeous! It’s perfect on a hot day and that touch of thyme sounds perfect.
This sounds right up my alley for these hot summer days! Love the thyme!
That looks so pretty AND refreshing. And healthy…so I am totally down with this!
Want!! Loving this and I think it would be fabulous as a cocktail with a lil vodka thrown in! Cheers!
