I love Halloween, but I don't love all of the crazy amounts of sugar, artificial colors and artificial flavors. I am always looking for new, creative Halloween treats and I found some really great ones that I'd love to share. I can't wait to try these! The creativity in some of these recipes absolutely amazes me.
I just had to start with this… how adorable is this Pumpkin Veggie Tray?
Here is a collection of 20 healthier alternatives to all of that processed candy kids will overindulge in this Halloween. Now I am not saying kids shouldn't enjoy some Halloween candy, but why not create some of your own, fun treats at home?

These Coconut Maple Roasted Pumpkin Seeds are one of my kids' favorite snacks. The combination of sweet and salty is just perfect.
And these Lightened Up Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars seriously taste just like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. No joke.
I hope you enjoy these healthy treats too! Which one are you going to try first? I think I am going to start with the Pumpkin Veggie Tray and then onto the Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (my favorite!) Here's to making Halloween a little more healthy!

What great ideas. What child won't want to eat their veggies when they look so cute.

It's great to have this list of healthy treats. When the kids have pillowcases full of halloween candy...a little balance would be nice 🙂
