Now that the holidays are over we are all thinking about our New Year’s resolutions. I personally like to create short-term, attainable goals instead of resolutions in order to prevent disappointment.
Many people who don’t follow through with their resolutions often become depressed and end up right where they began.
So many people resolve to “lose weight” or “eat healthier” every January and I wanted to share a recipe that is so simple to make, healthy and most of all, DELICIOUS!
I decided to use truwhip Original Frozen Topping for this dip. I let it thaw completely in the refrigerator the day before and it took me only a few minutes to whip this up (pun intended!)
This dip is also perfect for a snack for kids after school. It goes perfectly with any fruit, graham crackers or cookies and even sliced celery!
The possibilities are endless and I promise the kids will be happy.
Sometimes I will make this in the morning and have it ready in the refrigerator for when they come home. truwhip adds a light creaminess with the same texture as real whipped cream.
It has a delicious taste without all of the extra junk and additives. I love that truwhip is always GMO-free and doesn’t contain high fructose corn syrup.
All of this is really important to me.
I care about the ingredients in everything my family eats. I try my best to provide them with all quality foods that I know I can feel good about.
Now look, I am not saying my family eats perfectly every day, we do the best we can. Especially my kids.
They have treats and desserts (some days probably a little too much) and they definitely don't deprive themselves. Nor should they.
Everything in moderation.
But with that being said, that doesn't mean you should go crazy and eat all the sugar you want during the holidays season. Don't deprive yourself, but also you can enjoy treats and desserts that are lightened up (like this).
Save that sugar and unnecessary refined carbohydrates for something else.

I told you it was EASY! Even one of my kids could even make this...
You only need a few simple ingredients to make this delicious dip. I like to make it ahead of time and have it ready to go.
You can eat this as a snack, appetizer or dessert. Any way you like it.
You can also dip anything you want in here, the possibilities are endless. Think cookies, graham crackers, any fruit you'd like, marshmallows... don't they all sound delicious?
And the best part is you can enjoy this guilt-free! Your resolutions will stay strong.
The real problem is making sure you don't eat the entire bowl in one sitting. I am telling you, it's not easy.
It really is THAT good.
