Easy, chewy and delicious peanut butter cookies are perfect when you are looking for a sweet treat in no time.
I bet not one of you is surprised that these are peanut butter cookies.
I just can’t quit you, peanut butter. And I never want to.
True confession time….
I have not been adding 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to my overnight oats or smoothies. It’s more like, lots of tablespoons.
I don’t know how or why it started, but I just got careless. And the fact that I am borderline obsessed with peanut butter doesn’t help. I just continued to add that giant, heaping, enormous spoonful every time.
It just tasted so good and that whole moderation thing went out the window. Rats!
So, now that the kiddies are back in school and I can get back on track with my workout schedule ( I miss my bar method!) I need to go back to my 1 tablespoon of peanut butter. And hope that my pants won’t be tight anymore…
Ok, confession time is over. Let’s talk about these C O O K I E S!
I made these for my kids for a treat after dinner (yes, during the larger-than-life-spoonful time) and they loved them. Ok, ok, I might have tried one (or two) and was overjoyed. But I knew, I had to freeze these bad boys to avoid temptation. And I did. I freeze 3 of them in a plastic bag for each of my kids to have for dessert.
Whew! Temptation avoided. They are DELICIOUS!
Check out the video I made to celebrate these bad boys…

I think everyone has their kryptonite when it comes to food, right??? Mine has always been peanut butter, what’s yours?
