I am excited to share with you my new partnership with Grass Roots’ Farmers Cooperative, a group of small-scale family farmers who formed in 2014 to transform the way meat is produced and consumed across the USA.
Hello friends, I have missed you!
My family and I just got back from an amazing trip to the Dominican Republic and it’s time to get back to work!
But it’s not that easy when it’s 50 degrees and drizzling here in NJ when I was just HERE…
I guess all good things must come to an end, right?
Punta Cana really was absolutely stunning. The water was crystal blue, the beaches were breathtaking and the food was delicious! We stayed at The Hard Rock in Punta Cana which was truly magnificent. There were 11 gorgeous pools (and a lazy river!), 12 different restaurants, a beautiful spa and so much more. The best part…it was all inclusive. Perfect for a family of five that loves to eat.
The best part of our trip? Besides the beautiful scenery, delicious foods and unlimited cocktails…spending time together. No practices, games or activities. It was perfect.
Now it’s time to get back to reality and share with you my new partnership with Grass Roots Farmers Cooperative. Grass Roots provides the best quality and most nutritious meat in a matter that is humane, transparent, sustainable and fair. Raising small batches of chickens, pigs and cattle on 100% fresh pasture, their happy animals live outdoors and are free of antibiotics, growth hormones, and GMO’s.
I truly care about the quality and sustainability of meats and I am so excited to have found Grass Roots.
Their mission: Raise healthy animals who spend their time outdoors with sunlight, fresh air, and clean grass. No hormones, antibiotics, pesticides or GMOs needed.
I love that.
Now that I am back home, I am bombarded with practices, games, tournaments…if you are a parent, you get it. I’d love to say I always have a refrigerator loaded with all healthy foods all the time but with three growing boys, it’s not that easy.
That’s where Grass Roots comes in. The meats arrive in an insulated box frozen (shown above). To ensure the quality of your delivery, they use pre-industrial cotton insulation—which is dye-free, recyclable and 100% biodegradable—and we pack our boxes with dry ice. Don’t worry if a few of your products arrive partially frozen—they are still safe to eat as long as everything is still cold to the touch. Refrigerate them to thaw completely or refreeze anything you are not ready to eat.
See how simple that is?
And I am thrilled that now YOU can also and get pasture raised meats delivered to your door from Grass Roots Farmer’ Cooperative by clicking HERE. Build your custom box by adding the specific meats you love to your cart. Enter LKELLY to get $50 off your first order of $125+.
