This smoothie is packed with protein, vitamins and nutrients to help keep you full and give you energy to start your day!
I feel like I could post a new smoothie recipe each week. I am always testing out new ones and I this one is a true favorite. I love adding Stonyfield Greek yogurt to my smoothies because it adds 15 grams of protein (per 5.3 ounce cup) and it's organic and GMO-FREE too as well. This is my second year being a Stonyfield Blogger Ambassador and I love every minute of it! I did write The Greek Yogurt Cookbook, so that must mean something!
Now let me show my new favorite product! This is a Hamilton Beach Single Serve Blender with Travel Lid. How smart…they made a blender that also can be used as a cup. Pure genius!
I have used this blender several times since I received it and I love it. It's super easy, you literally place the ingredients in it and press the button. I love easy. And I love this smoothie.
So now check out this delicious, healthy smoothie...
Ingredients
- 1 cup baby spinach
- ½ cucumber chopped
- ½ apple. chopped leave the skin on
- ½ cup chopped pineapple
- 1 5.3 ounce container of Stonyfield plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- water or milk optional, add if the mixture is too thick
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend until smooth. Remove lid and enjoy!
I added chopped apples and more chia and hemp seeds on top because I felt like it. And I was so happy with the added texture!
Guess what? I am giving away one of these blenders to one lucky winner! Please leave a comment here telling me what the first smoothie would be that you would make in the blender.
