Candied Pecans
  • 8 ounces pecan pieces roughly 2 cups
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup 100% maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  1. Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
  2. Place pecans on a baking sheet with parchment paper or silpat on top.
  3. Roast pecans for 5 minutes. Remove from oven.
  4. Place the remaining ingredients into a small bowl and mix well. Add toasted pecans and maple syrup mixture to a resealable plastic bag and shake to coat thoroughly.
  5. Bake is preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until browned, making sure to stir frequently. Allow to cool for a few minutes and break apart. Your house will smell amazing!
