Healthy Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 15 ounce can organic tomato sauce
  • 1 12 ounce can organic tomato paste
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper *you can adjust this according to your taste

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a medium saucepan and mix well.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Continue to stir occasionally.
  • Let cool and serve immediately or place in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
