- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter ½ stick of butter
- ⅓ cup Monkfruit
- ¾ cup brown sugar substitute
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecan halves
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium high heat, add the butter into the pan. Let cook until fully melted.
Then add in the white and brown sugars, continuously mixing until they melt into a brown sugar mixture.
Pour in the heavy cream and vanilla stirring together until all the ingredients are combined and melted together. Stir until boiling.
Once the caramelized mixture is boiling, stop stirring and let it boil for 1 minute.
Next add in the salt and stir briefly.
Pour in the pecans and stir, coating them fully. Bring the mixture to a boil once more before removing from the heat.
Let the saucepan sit on the stove for a few minutes.
Take the prepared baking sheet and scoop 2 inch spoonfuls of the praline mixture and place on the parchment paper.
Continue dropping spoonfuls until you’ve used all the praline mixture and there is no more space on the sheet.
Let the pralines sit until they cool and harden completely.
Refrigerate in an airtight container. Enjoy!
