Apple Gingerbread Quinoa

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cooked quinoa
  • ¼ cup almond milk feel free to add more in tablespoon increments if you need more
  • ½ apple chopped
  • 1 tablespoon 100% maple syrup
  • teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon you can use less if you'd like
  • teaspoon ground cloves
  • Maple syrup for topping

Instructions

  • After quinoa is cooked, remove sauce pan from heat and set aside.
  • Put almond milk in sauce pan with sliced apple and mix well.
  • Add maple syrup and spices and continue to mix. Put quinoa mixture over low heat and continue to stir until most of the milk is absorbed and apples soften. Serve immediately. ENJOY
