Peanut Butter Protein Muffins

Simple to make and loaded with protein, these muffins are so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup protein powder
  • ½ cup raw honey
  • 3 very ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup natural creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Spray muffin tin with cooking spray or line with muffin liners.
  • In a medium bowl mix together flour, baking powder, salt, protein powder until combined.
  • Add honey, mashed bananas and applesauce until combined.
  • Add peanut butter and mix again.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and toothpick is placed in the center and comes out clean.

Notes

To store in the refrigerator: Place cooled protein muffins in airtight container for up to 5 days.
To store in the freezer: Place in rolled protein muffins in airtight container for up to 3 months.
