I can’t believe 2014 is almost over! Check out the 14 most popular recipes on the blog this year.
2014 has been a really great year. Life is busy with my three little guys, but I finally feel like I’ve reached (somewhat) of a decent balance of it all. I mean, my house is still messy (but always clean!) and most days I am still in my bar method clothes all day, but I feel like I am able to cook and share more of my recipes while still being present with the family. Note, I did say MOST days…
I am so thankful for all of your support. I love getting messages and notes here on my recipes saying that you made (and actually loved) my recipe. You have no idea how good that makes me feel. I am super hard on myself and you guys always seem to make me feel great. So THANK YOU! Now onto these recipes (in no particular order)…
These Balsamic Glazed Green Green Beans have been super popular on the blog! They make a perfect, healthy side dish to any of your favorite meals.
Vanilla Chia Pudding Pie with Almond Crust. C’mon, the name says it all. Vegan, healthy deliciousness all in one.
Say goodbye to processed chicken nuggets made with fillers and preservatives. These Healthy Chicken Nuggets are gluten free and packed with flax and chia seeds!
Looking for a healthy snack? These Chili Lime Roasted Almonds are insanely easy to make and so delicious!
Yes, rice pudding CAN be healthy (and amazing too!) Try this Pumpkin Rice Pudding to satisfy your sweet tooth.
This is by far my all-time favorite cake! This Cinnamon Coffee Cake is actually made with Greek yogurt (and is straight from The Greek Yogurt Cookbook!)
This Quinoa Vegetable Soup is easy to make and I love keeping it in my refrigerator for an easy, vegan dish when I want to clean up my meals!
Looking for a super easy, healthy breakfast or snack? Chocolate Coconut Chia Pudding is amazing (don’t let the name scare you!)
There is good reason that this Mixed Berry Overnight French Toast Casserole is so popular! It’s lightened up with Greek yogurt and it’s simple to prepare.
Overnight Oats are my latest obsession these days. Gingerbread Chocolate Overnight Oats are still healthy, but they are lightly sweet and take 5 minutes to make. Seriously guys, 5 minutes!
Salted Caramel and Chocolate Pecan Tarts that are vegan, dairy-free AND gluten-free? THAT’s why they are so popular. They just so happen to be awesome too.
Talk about gorgeous…. this Cranberry Apple Salad with Chia Balsamic Vinaigrette is also packed with flavor and healthy stuff. I. Love. Chia. Seeds.
This Peanut Butter Cake went crazy over at Pinterest. Why? It’s vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and it’s made with PEANUT BUTTER!
We are all looking for easy, healthy, one-pot meals. This Southwestern Chicken Skillet is just that. What’s not to love? Avocados, cheese, beans, quinoa and rice. It’s as close to perfect as you can get.
I hope you enjoyed these recipes as much as I did! I can’t wait to start creating some new ones in 2015. Thank you all again and Happy Holidays!
I must try those chicken nuggets, asap!!! Love this round-up!! Great job Lauren.
I bet you love them Kelly!
Remind me never to read your blog posts before eating breakfast Lauren; I’m starving now. What a fun look at the year! I love seeing what readers have loved over the year. I certainly see some recipes in your round-up I’ll be making in the new year!
Haha! Thank you Toni!
Sharing recipes while being present with family is definitely an accomplishment. It takes work to find that balance, but is so important! As usual, all of your recipes look wonderful.
I am all over those GF chicken nuggets!! 🙂
Beautiful food photography by the way!
Thank you Gigi!

I am so glad you found balance. It took me a while to get into the grove also. I have my good days and not so good days. All your recipes of 2014 look delicious!
