This week’s meals are hearty, nutritious and delicious. Sautéed Sweet Potato and Greens Breakfast Bowls and Butternut Squash Potato Leek Soup are the two I am starting with this week!
It was a really long, weird week, wasn’t it? Besides all of the emotions so many people had regarding the election (I had to take a step away form social media for a bit) but also my kids had half days in the beginning of the weekend then they were off Thursday and Friday. I am just feeling off this week, you know? Anyone else out there?
And unfortunately when I am off, the first thing to suffer is my sleep. And then I don’t eat as well as I normally do. It’s a vicious cycle. The only thing that remained steady was my workouts so there’s that, but it was definitely a long, weird week.
I am hoping this upcoming week is much better. Oh wait! Tomorrow is my birthday and my kids are SO excited. I am not a big birthday person but man, I love seeing the cards and gifts my kids make me. It makes me almost like my birthday! Almost…
Ok, here’s to hoping I get back on track this week, although I hope there will be some birthday cake in my future…
