Nothing says organic goodness like ALOHA.  No, I am not talking about that familiar Hawaiian greeting, I am talking about my new favorite whole-food supplement.

Aloha Daily Good Greens

What exactly is Aloha?  This is what the package says: “The Aloha Daily Good Greens powder is a 100% natural, vegan whole-food product which in turn energizes, hydrates, and cleanses.  Daily Good Greens are 2 servings of fruits and veggies in a packet with whole-food vitamin D. Mix 1 packet of powder into 8-10 0z. of your favorite drink, smoothie, protein shake, juice, or water to enjoy.”  This is right up my alley.

Aloha helps detoxify (who couldn’t use a good detox??) as well as improving and firming skin.  It also helps boost energy and keeps you hydrated while boosting your immune system with lots of antioxidants.  All the packets are vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free and contain no artificial ingredients.  I’m sold.  Let’s do this.

I’m intrigued.  Aloha offers a free trial that comes with 6 daily green powders in all three flavors to try (pictured above).  The trial is 14 days with the benefits of becoming auto enrolled into the monthly subscription.  I received my blend box of daily good greens in just a few days and couldn’t wait to get started.

Most of you know, I love to stay active.  My two favorite things are Bar Method and running, so I figured I’d start with the “Daily Good Berry Blend” right before my Bar Method class.  I’ll be honest, I was feeling sluggish and was looking for a little energy.   I decided to add a packet of the berry blend to cold water right before a class.   This berry blend contains “super foods” such as spiraling, spinach, wile blueberries, ginger among other intriguing ingredients. With just 45 calories in a packet, I knew this wasn’t derailing my healthy lifestyle either.

Aloha The Daily Good Berry Blend

It tastes delicious (thank goodness because I am so picky!) and I felt energized.  Now don’t get me wrong, I was still DYING in class, but I definitely had more energy than usual.   This contains organic spirulina, which is form of algae that is rich in protein and nutrients.  I bet if I had coconut water it would’ve been tasty mixed in with my berry blend.  Ok, save that idea for next time.

The next day, I was exceptionally busy with the kids.  We are all trying to get back into the swing of things and adjusting to our new schedules.  But I have to tell you, at 3:00 p.m. (most days), I just want to take a nap.  What’s the problem with that, you ask?  I have three little kids that need to be picked up from school and chauffeured around town.  So…. there is no time for a nap.  Here’s my chance to try another one of my Blend Box of Daily Good Greens!  I decided to add “The Daily Good” packet to my juice that I just made.  It was made of kale, spinach, ginger and apple.  Now if I add my Aloha to this already super healthy juice, this can only be even MORE super healthy right?  And give me energy? I’m in.

Aloha Daily Good Greens

I loved it.  And I love the fact that Aloha is also vegan, non-GMO and contains now artificial colors or flavors.

I also have a love of running.  As I get older, I can’t run as far or as fast as I used to, but I still get out there 2-3 times a week.  I decided to try The Daily Good after my run while I was stretching to help refuel.  I mixed it with 6 ounces of vanilla unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla, dash of cinnamon and a tiny drop of stevia.  It was just what I needed after a grueling run.

Aloha The Daily Greens Blend Box

The last packet of The Daily Good Blend Box is the Chocolate Cacao flavor.  Most of you know how much I LOVE cacao, so this should be fun to add to something.  I was going to add it to my Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie, but instead, I added it to oatmeal.  Yes, oatmeal!

Aloha The Daily Good Chocolate CacaoMy oatmeal wasn’t anything fancy.  Just plain quick oats made with almond milk, dried cherries and a tablespoon of chopped pistachios.  I love chocolate and cherries together so I thought The Daily Good Chocolate Cacao blend would go perfectly in my oats.  I was right.  But I pretty much believe that cacao goes with almost anything.  I think the Chocolate Cacao blend was my favorite (shocking, huh?)
