I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family! 2015 was a great year for me, but of course I had my ups and downs. I feel so very lucky for each and every one of you and I am so thankful for all of your support. So now, let’s dive into my 15 Most Popular Recipes from 2015!
Gluten-Free Cinnamon Sugar Donuts These babies are gluten-free but still sweet, fluffy and delicious. I saved on some of the amount of sugar by only dipping one side of the donuts in the cinnamon-sugar topping. Every bit counts, right?
Spiked Apple Cider Like I always say, everything in moderation right? There is always some room for cocktails and these are incredible. This is a simple recipe, just a little fresh orange juice and cinnamon sticks!
Quinoa Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms If you are looking for a ridiculously easy appetizer that’s also healthy and looks super fancy, this is it! No one has to know how simple they are to prepare. Added bonus, they are also gluten-free and packed with vitamins and protein. It’ll be our secret.
Healthy Breakfast Bowl Don’t start your day with excessive amounts of sugar and junk! Try this bowl of deliciousness. I am all about beginning my day with vitamins, antioxidants and lots of protein.
Detox Carrot Drink Did you overindulge last night? This drink certainly won’t erase the calories, but it does help relieve bloating. And it’s packed with all the good stuff to make you feel great.
Easiest Baked Ziti This ziti is no joke. And yes, it really is that easy. It’s cheesy but not too cheesy and it’s great for entertaining. Everyone loves it!
Chicken and Spaghetti in Creamy Avocado Sauce Yes, the sauce on this is my everything! It’s so rich and creamy without all of the added fat and calories from actual cream. And avocados are filled with the healthy fats that help lower your cholesterol and prevent disease.
Gingerbread Pancakes Why should gingerbread be only eaten around the holidays? These delicious spices should be celebrated all year long. And these fluffy pancakes will be everyone’s new favorite breakfast. Vegan lovers, get excited, these are for you!
Crispy Mint Chocolate Chip Balls Ok, I get that there are a lot of these “balls” (or as I prefer to call them, “bites”) out there, but these are really the be-all-and-end-all of all the balls/bites out there. These are naturally colored green with my good friend, matcha powder and are no bake, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and take only minutes to prepare. See what I mean?
Pumpkin Mousse Just like gingerbread, pumpkin should be enjoyed all year long. This mousse takes a few minutes to prepare and is packed with protein, vitamins and fiber. Be sure to stock up on cans of pumpkin now in case it’s hard to find by you. You will want to make this daily.
Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Bars Hold onto your seats, these bad boys are vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free! There’s no guilt in these NO BAKE bars. Now you se why they made this list, right?
Chopped Mexican Kale Salad with Creamy Avocado Dressing Light, and simple to prepare, this is one of MY favorite salads to make! The Creamy Avocado Dressing is right out of my cookbook, The Greek Yogurt Cookbook, and can be used for so many things. I use it as a dip, I put it on sandwiches and sometimes eat it by the spoonful. No judgment please.
Mexican Quinoa Lasagna This might look fancy, but it’s crazy easy to prepare. It’s also vegetarian and gluten-free and great for parties!
Vegan Triple Chocolate Cake I am sure you aren’t surprised that THIS cake made the list. Not only is it vegan, but it’s still outrageously decadent. No one has to know there’s no milk or eggs in this cake!
Healthy Chicken Salad If you are looking for yet another easy and delicious recipe, this one is for you! This chicken salad is packed with protein from Greek yogurt. You won’t miss the unnecessary calories and fat from mayonnaise in here. I promise.
That’s it! These are my most popular recipes from 2015. I know which one is my favorite, which one is yours?
